Add-ins and Substitutes

  • Add other vegetables. This versatile salad can be made with other vegetables, such as corn, carrots, bell peppers, radish, and others. Just dice them to a similar size to the other ingredients.
  • Substitute different herbs. If you are not a fan of cilantro, then try other fresh herbs to flavor your Avocado Salad. Parsley, basil, mint, or dill would all work.
  • Try different dressing flavors. This simple lime dressing is so bright and delicious, but you could also try it with some red wine vinegar, lemon juice, or maple syrup, to add some tangy or sweet notes.
