These Cabbage Pizza Steaks are tender, juicy, and loaded with flavor. Such a fun way to turn simple cabbage into something seriously delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium cabbage
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt, or to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup vegan mozzarella, shredded
  • ½ cup mushrooms, thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Cut the cabbage into thick steaks, about 1–1.5 inches thick.

  • Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet. Brush both sides with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, oregano, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, until tender and lightly browned.

  • Remove from the oven and spread marinara sauce evenly over each steak.

  • Top with vegan mozzarella, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes. Return to the oven and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

🌶 Make it spicy
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot sauce for a little heat.
