Ingredients
1 head cabbage
3tbspolive oil
1tspgarlic powder
1tspsmoked paprika
½tspbrown sugar
¼tspred pepper flakesor to taste
¾tspsaltor to taste
Instructions
Remove any loose or damaged outer leaves from the cabbage. Cut off the stem end, then slice the cabbage into thick rounds, about ¾ to 1 inch thick.
1 head cabbage
Place the cabbage steaks on a cutting board or tray, leaving some space between them. Brush with olive oil, then sprinkle generously with salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and a light touch of brown sugar.
3 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika, ½ tsp brown sugar, ¼ tsp red pepper flakes, ¾ tsp salt
Flip the cabbage over and repeat: brush with oil and sprinkle the same seasonings on the other side. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to each piece, if desired.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Arrange the cabbage steaks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. If a few pieces slightly overlap, that’s perfectly fine — they will still cook nicely and get delicious crispy edges.
Air fry for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden, and the center is tender.
Serve hot, and enjoy!

🔄 Recipe Tips & Variations
Don’t overcrowd the basket – Cabbage needs space for the hot air to circulate and get crispy.
Adjust the spice level – Add more red pepper flakes for extra heat or skip them for a milder version.
Try other spices – Swap smoked paprika for cumin or onion powder for a new flavor twist.
Brighten it up – Finish with a splash of lemon juice or balsamic glaze after air frying.
